CASE OF ACCIDENT AND ACT DANGEROUS TO LIFE

1. Case FIR No. 384/11 dated 31.12.2011 U/S 279, 336, 337, 427 IPC has been registered in PS Manali on the statement of Sh. Gopal Singh S/o Sh. Khub Ram R/o Jather PO Katrain district Kullu stated that on 30.12.2011 at about 11.30 PM he was sleeping in his room, suddenly he heard a noise. He came out side and he saw one Gypsy bearing No. HR-26F-1837 collided with the wall of his house, as a result of four person namely Amit Guleria, Navneet, Anil and Rovin Man which were sitting in vehicle sustained injured . Case is being investigated by I/C PP Patlikuhal.

CASE OF INQUEST

2. On 30.12.2011 at about 5.15 pm Sh. A.J. Bajba Manager Bhart Company Kasholi informed in PS Brow that one person namely Karan Thapa S/o Sh. Rattan Thapa village Kot PO Rahari Tehsil Rapti district Rukan Nepal age about 38 years  A/p labourer K.K Rajan Constructor Bharat Company Kasholi fell down in Thachwa Dhang and he was brought to MGMSC Khanari for treatment . On this information SHO PS Brow along with staff rushed to MGMSC Khanari, where M.O declared him as  dead. Today on 31.12.2011 after postmortem the dead body was handed over to his wife. Proceeding under section 174 Cr.pc has been conducted by SHO PS Brow.

1.  Case FIR No. 592/11dtd 29-12-11 u/s 224 IPC has been registered in PS Kullu on the statement of Sh. Balraj Singh S/O Sukhdev Singh R/O H.No.5 Back side of P.S. Sadar Patiala a/p HC No. 2320 Police line Patiala Punjab state that on dated 28-12-11 HC Balraj Singh & HC Ved Parkash no. 697 deputed for production of accused of NDPS act Bharat Bhushan S/O Ramesh Lal R/O Chaili PO Sumer hill Distt Shimla in the Ld. Sessions court Kullu on 29-12-11. They brought above accused to Kullu and reached at bus stand at 5-30 AM from there they went to Gurudwara AB Kullu for natural call. HC Ved Parkash went to toilet with accused Bharat Bhushan and accused was in handcuff. He rescued himself by blow and ran way taking the advantage of dark. They searched him but accused did not find yet. Case is being investigated by SI Het Ram I/C PP AB Kullu.

1. Case FIR No. 591/11 dated 28.12.2011 U/S 498A, 506, 313 IPC has been registered in PS Kullu on the statement of Smt. Minal W/o Sh. Tarun Bhatia R/o T-55 MoolChand Colony Adarsh Nagar near Azadpur Subjimandi Delhi A/P tenant Narayan Lala near Family Health Center Gandhinagar Kullu stated that she got marriage with Sh. Tarun Bhatia in 18 February 2011. After 2 month of marriage her husband physically & mentally tortured her and demanded dowry and also got her miscarriage as she was pregnant. Tarun Bhatia has been arrested in this case. Case is being investigated by ASI Hari Singh I/O PS Kullu.

Case FIR No 357/11 dated 29-12-2011 u/s 452,323,506,34 IPC has been registered in PS Anni on the statement of Sh Thakur Dass s/o jalpu Ram R/o Mouhavi PO Khun Tehsil anni that on dated 27-12-2011 at about 4.00 pm his relative and brother in law was sited in room and he was preparing the meal in kitchen. Two person namely Jia Lal and Kaur came to his house room and scuffle with his relative and also with him with out any reason and threatened to him that they will kill him in future. Case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Anni.

3. Case FIR No 358/11 dated 29-12-2011 u/s 506,504,34 IPC has been registered in PS Anni on the application of Sh Khem Raj S/o Sh. Padami Ram R/o Fanouti PO Duhad tehsil Anni that on dated 23-09-2011 at about 11.26 pm he received a phone call from the no 98051-84443. That no holder at once abused him and threatened him to kill and said that why you registered the case against Panchayat member in panchayat's scam. Case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Anni.

Case FIR No 588/11 dated 26.12.11 U/S  279,337  IPC and 184 MV Act  has been registered in P.S Sadar Kullu on the statement of Surya S/o Sone Lal R/o Shahpur Distt Purnia Bihar  at present raft helper Babeli Distt Kullu stated that on 26.12.2011 at 11.15 AM when he was going to fill the air in raft at Babeli in the mean time a vehicle No HP-67-0008 came towards Manali and hit him and run away from the spot. 3. Case FIR No 589/11dated 27.12.11 U/S 379,34 IPC has been registered in P.S Kullu on the statement of Sh. Rajesh Kumar S/O Sh. Jagdish Ram R/O Jajhar P.P. Geharwin Tehsil Jhanduta Distt. Bilaspur A/P Linemen BSNL Telephone exchange Dohara Nala Sub Division Gandhi Nagar stated that during the intervening night of 26/27/12/11 he woke up for urination out side the telephone exchange and saw straight upwards hill at Lihan Village. On this my self along with Vice President Moti Ram reached on the spot and found baslbir Singh S/o Roshan Lal R/o Sarwari Kullu, Mukesh Kumar S/o Jadu Ram, R/o 18 Miles Tehsil baijnath Distt kangra and Raj Kumar S/o Kunj Lal R/o dalhousi Distt Chamba was burning the cable wire. Case is being investigated by HC jai Singh I/O PS kullu.

CASE OF THEFT

4. Case FIR No 590/11 dated 27.12.2011 U/S 380, 34 IPC has been registered in PS Kullu on the statement of Ramesh Banyal S/o Kanshi Ram R/o Shastri Naggar Kullu at present posted SDM office Kullu stated that on 26/27.12.2011 intervening night some unknown persons has stolen away the HCL computer from the SDM office. Case is being investigated by ASI Balak Ram I/O PS kullu.

5. To day at about 9.30 am one sh.D.N. Mathur Manager Patel Company Bayal informed that one person namely Anmol Pardhan S/o Chamara Pardhan r/o Ranchi ( jharkhand) age 23 year died in his quarter at Bayal in the interveining night on 26-12-2011 due to ailment. On this ASI Tek Chand  along with police party rushed to the spot and found that deceased died due to ailment .No foul play came to notice so for . Proceeding U/S 174 CrPC has been conducted by ASI Tek Chand .Dead body handed over his brother Krishana for the crimination after post mortem.

He stopped the both vehicles & checked. During checking of both vehicle, the forest product Dora (plenipotentiary) total 95 bags = 2840 kg found in illicit possession of owner / driver of above vehicle. Anil Sood R/o VPO Naggar Tehsil Manali Distt Kullu stated that on 20.12.11 when her daughter namely Rozy (Fictitious name) age 17 years came back from Govt. Senior Secondary School Naggar along with her friend Ms Jitendra in the mean time Ranbir and Bindu forcibly took her daughter in Maruti van No HP-02K-0213 with the intention to marry with Ranbir with out her consent. Case FIR NO 581/11dated 17/12/2011 u/s 279, 337 IPC has been registered on the statement of Ram Dhan S/o Sh Mangal Chand R/o Bhuntti Distt Kullu stated that on 17/12/2011 at about 07.30 PM Ram Chand & Hari Singh was going to Nagu Jhour from Rujak in vehicle No.HP-01k-0752 Sumo, when they reached near Nagu jhour the driver of above vehicle lost the control over the vehicle and fell down from the road. Case is being investigated I/C traffic wing Kullu.

Case FIR No 583/11 dated 18.12.11 U/S 452,323 IPC has been registered in PS Kullu on the statement of Khubi Devi W/o Alam Chand R/o Machhang PO Babeli Tehsil & Distt Kullu stated that today morning at 8 am when she was siting in her room at the same time one Mast Ram S/o Jog Ram entered his room with stick and beaten her without any reason and caused injuries in her body. Case is being investigated by HC Parminder Singh I/O PS Kullu.

CASE OF ACCIDENTAL DEATHS

5. Case FIR No 103/11 dated 18-12-11 u/s 279,337,304 (A) IPC has been registered in PS Brow on the rukka of SI Prem Lal alleging that on 18-12-11 at around 9 am one vehicle Bearing No HP-06(A)-0441 Jeep met with an accident near Samri Dhank near Thachwa. In this incident driver Vikram S/o Shyam Lal R/o Chati sustained injury and 3 persons namely Sumitra Devi W/o Shyam Lal,Tara Devi W/o Ram Lal R/o Chati and Keshav Ram S/o Moti Ram R/o Kharga washed away in Satluj river. Dead body of Smt. Sumitra Devi recovered near Jobni bag later on. Injured Vikram died on the way while he was lifted to IGMC Shimla. However dead body of Tara Devi and Keshav Ram not recovered so far. Case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Brow.

CASE OF CHEATING

1.   Case FIR No 578/11 dated 15.12.11 u/s 420 IPC has been registered in P.S Kullu on the report of SH Virender Pal  S/o Dola Ram R/o Greenwich P.O Samani tehsil  Nirmand  A/P working as  Hotel marketing at Manali. In the month of Sep/2011 he applied for job in Dubicom Company in U.K for General Manager from Cyber cafe at Kullu. After two weeks he received a job offer letter under reference No DHLUK06/01658 on his E-mail ID Vthakur65@gmail.com and also received some other papers/application form from Career@dubicomhotels.com. They demanded Rs 2, 50,000/- for entry clearance and advised him to deposited money on A/C No 20019453247-Subhash Sharma, 31332989530 Hayat  Amechar Centre & 30876196729-Ram Murti Dewedi . He was in contact with one UK national Mr. Parkar Devis Ph No 00447031861990& 00447031802686. He deposited        Rs 1, 55,000/- in above account no. After then they informed him telephonically that they are sending him advance salary but he will have to deposit Rs 78000/- for Bank transaction first. When he confirmed   about this, he came to know that he has been cheated by above mentioned fake company. Case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal I/O P.S Kullu.

2.  Case FIR No579/11 dated 15.12.11 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act has been registered in PS Kullu on the rukka of HC Neter Singh that on 15.12.11 at about 1015 PM a Tata Sumo No HP01K-2726 going towards Manali and when the above vehicle reached near Ramshila and hit with electric Pole and the driver ran away form the spot. Case is being investigated by HC Neter Singh I/O PP AB kullu.

3.  Case FIR No 580/11 dated 16.12.11 U/S 498(A), 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS Kullu on the statement of Smt Pinki Sharma W/o Kapil Sharma R/o Kararsu at present  Larnkelo   Distt Kullu stated that she got married to Kapil in the month October 2011. After a few days of marriage her husband, father in law and mother in law started torturing her and demanded dowry. The complainant also lodged a complaint under domestic violence act today on 16.12.11 when she came to Kullu for court evidence where all above person threatened her with dire consequences. Case is being investigated by I/C Women cell Kullu.

Govind Ram village Bhadeuli PO Sachani Tehsil and Distt Kullu stated that that on 14.12.2011Shri Murari Lal S/o Purshotam and Khub Ram S/O Purshotam Lal R/O Sachani came to his field and cut his 50 trees of Pomegranate and they threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Roop Lal  I/O PS Bhunter.

CASE OF HURT, OBSTRUCTING WAY AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

1.      Case FIR No 238/11 dated 14.12.11 U/S 341, 323, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS Bunter on the statement of Bhupender Singh   S/o Nidhi Singh R/o Lower Lajan Distt Kullu stated that on 13.12.11 when he was coming back from his maternal uncle house to his home and when he reached near village Lohardi four persons namely Gautam, Nirtu, Nainu and Chuni Lal obstructed his way and beaten him and threatened him with dire consequences. Case is being investigated by ASI Gangbir Singh I/O PS Bhunter.

CASE OF FIRE

2.      On 14.12.11 at about 11PM one Smt. Banto Devi Pradhan GP Brahman informed telephonically at P.S Kullu that a fire incident took place at Dhunkhri in the house (Dogri) of Shri Ami chand S/o Nati Ram r/o Khopri P.O Bhalyani. On this information SI Om Chand I/O P.S Kullu rushed to the spot along with staff and they found the human bone fragments on the spot. On enquiry it is revealed that these bone fragments are of four persons namely Prem chand S/o Amar chand r/o Kamand age 26 yrs, Bir Singh S/o Shukru Ram r/o Kamand age 26 yrs, Ramesh Kumar S/o Sher Singh r/o Dali age 29 yrs and Mohan lal S/o Nanak Chand r/o Telang age 18 yrs, who came for pruning of apple trees.   All these four deceased have been recognized by their parents through wearing articles such as shoes, belt, and knife etc. All bone fragments have been brought to RH Kullu for Post mortem. Proceedings U/S 174 Cr.P.C is being conducted by SI Om Chand I/O P.S Kullu.  The cause of fire incident could not be ascertained so far.

3.      On 14.12.2011 information received in PS Brow fire incidents took place in the house of Vishamber Negi R/o Thachwa Tehsil Nirmand Distt Kullu. On this information SHO PS Brow rushed to the spot to verify the facts. On enquiry it is reveals that the fire incidents took place due to leakage of LPG cylinder. In this Incidents Smt. Indira Devi w/o Om Prakash sustained injury. No foul play has been noticed so far.

Today a fire incident occurred in the house of Sher Singh S/o Dile Ram R/o Bhutti  Distt Kullu  On information of fire incident,  police party rushed  to the spot and found that house of Sher Singh gutted into the fire and adjoining house of Mr. Tilak Raj S/o Ludar Chand also burnt partially. Total loss in this incident is approx.10 lacs. No loss of human as well as live stocks. Sher singh has no doubt on any person about this incident.

UTILIZATION OF FUNDS UNDER MNREGA FOR CANNABIS DESTRUCTION

As part of achieving social objectives under MGNREGA Kullu Police surveyed the cannabis affected areas and get prepared shelves of Destruction of Cannabis. Shelves amounting to a total of around 21,00,000 (twenty one Lakh Rupees) under jurisdiction of 7 Police Stations were sanctioned. The works under this were to be executed through concerned Gram Panchayat. Utilization of funds is as under:

SHO Banjar Shri Surendra Pathak has done a commendable job by motivating concerned Gram Panchayats and utilizing almost 95% of around three Lakh Rupees sanctioned. Kullu Police has been able to get utilized around 40% of the allotted funds by constantly interacting with the GP Pradhans.
