1 Case FIR No287/11 dated 25.6.2011 u/s 20 of NDPS Act has been
registered in P.S Manali against unknown person; during
patrolling/destruction of cannabis plants at Batiling near Malana
where illicit cannabis plants were found cultivated in 1.15 Bigha of
forest land. Case is being investigated by HC Mohar Singh I/O PP
Malana.
CASE OF BURGLARY OF MOBILE PHONES
2. Case FIR No 288/11 dated 25.6.2011 u/s 457,380 IPC has been
registered in P.S Manali on the application of Mr. Sunil Dutt s/o Sh
Ram Singh r/o Dhungri Manali a/p owner shop no K-12 near Durga Temple
that on intervening night of 24/25.6.2011 some unknown culprits had
stolen away 25 mobile set from his shop. Case is investigated by ASI
Ram Swaroop I/O P.S Manali.
CASE OF ACCIDENT
3. Case FIR NO 289/11 dated 25.6.2011 U/S 279 IPC has been registered
in P.S Manali on the statement of Sh. Jitender Singh r/o Jibhi Banjar
stated that he was driving his vehicle no HP-34D-9100 Ford car.
At about 8.30 PM when he reached at Patlikuhal one vehicle no
HP-34A-9740 M/car came in rash & negligent manner from Kullu side and
collided with his vehicle and without stopping ran away from the spot
.Case is being investigated by HC Mohinder singh I/O PP Patli Kuhal.

4. Case FIR No 364/11 dated 25.6.2011 U/S 457,380IPC has been
registered in P.S Kullu on the statement of Sunder Singh s/o Budh Ram
r/o colony P.O at present Chowkidar Gram Panchayat Choparsa stated that on
24/25 intervening night some unknown culprit have stolen the scanner
woofer, speaker and one computer from panchayat bhavan Chaparsa after
breaking the lock. Case is investigated by HC Parminder I/O P.S

CASE OF THEFT, EXTORTION AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
5. Case FIR No 365/11 dated 25.6.2011U/S 382, 383, 506,34 IPC has been
registered on the statement of Arjun Kumar s/o Khan Bahadur r/o Jwani
Ropa that on 25.6.2011 when he along with his friends were going to
their home, at about 9.45PM when they reached at AB Kullu, one person
namely Vikrant along with his friends came and show him a Khukri and
threatened him to hand over his mobile to him otherwise he will kill
the complainant. Due to fear of death the complainant handed over his
Samsang mobile to him and they ran away from there. Case is being
investigated by Jai Singh I/O PP city AB Kullu.

6.Case FIR NO 164/11 &165/11dated 25.6.2011u/s 32,33IF Act & 447IPC
has been registered in P.S Banjar on the written complaint of Sh
Geeta Ram, Range forest officer against two persons Smt Lali w/o
Bholu village Panu thach & Sh Bhagat Ram s/o Pari Dutt r/o Gadshaun
who have encroached un demarked protected forest land to extent of 10
bigha . Cases are being investigated by I/Os of P.S Banjar.

7. Case FIR No 165/11 dated 25.6.2011 u/s 379 IPC has been registered
in P.S Banjar on the application of Sh Maan Singh s/o Mangat Ram
Asstt. Manager of Forest unit Saraj at Banjar that in the intervening
night of 18/19.6.2011 some unknown persons have stolen away 13 secants
of Devdar and 3 secants of Kayal from Naglari .Case is investigated
by HC Ramesh Lal I/O P.S Banjar.

registered on the application of DFO Sh. Birbal Singh Yadav s/o lekh
Ram yadav village chehar Padher Mandi at present DFO Banjar stated that a
case O.A No 585of 2007 Karam Dutt versus state of HP was listed on
7.4.2008 the joint secy forest has directed to registered the FIR in
committing tempering and forgery against the (i) Sh Bhagat Ram forest

CASE OF HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
5.Case FIR No 36/11 dated 23-6-11 U/S 341,323,506,34 IPC has been
registered in PS Brow on the statement of Sh. Roop Dass R/o Brow
stated that on 23/06/11 at about 8.45 am one Balbir Kaushal and his
wife obstructed his way and gave beaten to him . They also threatened
him with dire consequence. Case is investigation by HC Kartar singh
I/O PS Brow.
CASE OF EXPLOSION DUE TO LPG LEAK
6.Today on 24/06/11 at about 5.30 am one Raj Kumar Sood informed
telephonically in PS Bhunter that an explosion has occurred near Sanik
Chowk Bhunter. On this information HC Chaman Lal along with Police
staff rushed to the spot. During inspection of spot , it was found
that the explosion had occurred due to leakage of LPG cylinder in Hema
Chinese dish shop. 4-5 shops of surrounding area have also been
damaged due to this explosion. The estimate of total damage property
could not be ascertained yet. Self visited the spot and a team of FSL
Gutkar District Mandi has also visited the spot. They also expressed
that the explosion has occurred due to leakage of LPG cylinder. In
this incident no loss of human life has been reported so far . A
regular case FIR No. 149/11 dated 24/06/11 U/S 285 IPC has been
registered in PS Bhunter against shopkeeper.

On 23.6.2011 One Smt rekha @ Mathura has been convicted for a period of 3 years and finned Rs 30,000/- by Ld District sessions Judge Kullu in previous case year FIR No 227/10 dated 28.9.2010 U/S 20 of NDPS Act PS Manali 1 Kg charas was recovered from their possession while she was travelling in Volvo Bus No DL-IPB-9056.
