CRIME REPORT DATED 18 AUG 2011

  1.   Case FIR No. 465/11 dated 17-8-11 u/s 341,323,34 IPC has been registered in PS Kullu  on the statement of Sonu s/o Raju r/o vill Nangabag PO Bandrol tehsil & distt Kullu stated that he along with his brother-in-law Tinku were present in village Bashing in the house of Atma Ram because they were with the feri of Gugajahar Peer and Guga jahar peer stay was in the house of Atma Ram. dinner was arranged in the panchayat Ghar at bashing when he and Tinku were coming back from Panchayat Ghar to the house of Atma Ram, on the way  Happy s/o Rajinder Sigh and Rinku s/o Tara Chand r/o Bashing obstructed his way and gave beaten to him. Case is being investigation by ASI Hari Singh I/O PS Kullu

2.      Case FIR No. 466/11 dated 17-8-11 u/s 429 IPC & 184,187 M.V Act  has been regd in this PS Kullu  on the statement of sh. Bhadur Singh s/o Dhian Chand r/o Khokhan tehsil and distt Kullu stated that he along with his horse was coming back from kaza to khokhan when he reached near kararsu one vehicle No. DL3CM -2313 came rashly and hit his horse and leg of two horse were broken and one horse sustained minor injury. driver of above Maruti van fled away from the spot. Case is  being investigated by HC Gian Chand I/O PS Kullu  

3.      Case FIR No.  467/11 dated 17-8-11 u/s 341,323,504,506 IPC has been regd in PS Kullu  on the statement of Smt. Kala Devi w/o Puni Ram r/o vil Kadoun PO Bhutti Tehsil & distt Kullu stated today when she was going back to her home after selling milk when she reached near Gadag Nala one Netar Singh s/o Devi Singh obstructed her and beaten her also used abusive language. Case is being investigated by SI Mukesh Kumar I/O PS Kullu

4. Case FIR No.  468/11dt 17-8-11 u/s 279,337 IPC &  184 MV Act  has been registered in PS Kullu on the statement of Khampa Ram s/o  Paras Ram vill Talogi PO bari  teh and distt Kullu aged 60 yrs stated that he was grazing his sheep near dons Bhiali jungle .at 2:00 pm a M/cycle  No. HP 58 4045 came rashly from Manali  side and hit him. Case is being investigated by ASI Biri Singh I/O TW Kullu.
5.  Case FIR No.  469/11 dated  17-8-2011 u/s 451,323,34 IPC has been registered  in PS Kullu  on the statement of Tilak Raj s/o Mela Ram r/o  Khori Ropa distt Kullu aged 62 yrs stated that he was working in his shop with his son Irender ,Rajesh and Salesman Rajkumar  and Sonu at about  8:00pm  3 persons namely Jasi, Man Chanda, Amit Kumar, Rajan came to his shop and beaten  with him and his son .Case is being investigated by SI Het Ram I/C PP City Kullu.  
6. Case FIR No.  233/2011 dated 17-8-2011 u/s 323,324,34 IPC  has been regd. In PS Nirmand  on the statement of sh. Sangat Ram s/o Morat Ram r/o Naya Dharta PO Nirmand  Tehsil Nirnad District Kullu  stated that on 16-8-2011 at about 8.30 pm he was in his home with their family , in the same time some  unknown person throw the stone on his house roof he came out side of his house along with younger brother Yog Raj  and went to behind the home  . He saw Mr. Chand s/o Bar Chand and Raju s/o Surat Ram were sitting in his field . he asked them to through the stone in his house roof but chand and Raju give beaten him  by  drate . as a result of which he sustained grievous  injuries.  Case is being investigated by ASI Narender Kumar I/O PS Nirmand.
7.  Date of Written Test for Constable recruitment

It is brought to the notice of all those candidates who have qualified Physical Efficiency Test in this district for the recruitment of post of Constables Male & Female in Himachal Pradesh Police Department that the venue of written Examination will be at Post Graduate College , Kullu on 28/08/2011 at 11.00 AM . Call letters for Written Examination have been issued to all candidates by this office on 17/08/2011 . The candidates should reach examination Centre an hour before the scheduled time. 8. Today on 18/08/11 one person namely Virender Kumar S/o Sh. Banarsi Dass R/o Kamela District Karnal Haryana has been  convicted and sentenced for three years imprisonment  and fine Rs. 30,000/-  by  Ld. District & Session Judge Kullu Sh. Baldev Singh in respect of  previous  Case FIR No. 170/09 dated 03/12/2009  U/S 20 of ND&PS Act regd. in PS Banjar, as 1.200 Kgs Charas was recovered from the possession of above Virender Kumar during patrolling at Phagupul. Investigation of this case was investigated by SI Lal Singh.
