RECRUITMENT OF CONSTABLES
Application are invited for the recruitment of 16 post of constables (MALE) candidates i.e. 2 post reserved for general (unreserved) category, 3 Post for general IRDP/Antodya, one post for general sportsmen, 2 post for general (UR) HHGs, 3 post for SC (UR) one post for SC HHG (UR), 3 post for OBC (UR) and one post for OBC HHG (UR) categories for battalion/IRBNS and left out vacancies of 6 post of constable (female) i.e. 3 posts reserved for ward of ex-servicemen (UR), one post for general sportsman and 2 post for ward of ex-servicemen OBC (UR) candidates for 5th INDIAN RESERVE BATTLION (MAHILA) and other IRBN/Bn in Himachal Pradesh Police Department in the pay scale of Rs. 5910-20200 from Kullu District by direct recruitment. Apart from this, 3 posts of Ex-servicemen as per vertical and horizontal reservation for battalion/IRBNs and 10 post of left out vacancies of ex-servicemen of 6th IRBn & other Bn. Which shall not be filled by open recruitment but chairman of District recruitment committee shall send requisition to the Secretary, Ex-servicemen Cell, and Hamirpur to sponsor the names. The eligibilities conditions are given in brief as under.The candidate must ensure that their application form reaches the O/O Superintendent of Police, Kullu Distt Kullu on or before31st May, 2011 up to 5.00 PM by any modes including by post. The education qualification is 10+2 for all candidates. Only such candidate (Male and Female) can apply who are registered with an employment Exchange with in the State up to 31-5-2011 and is bonafide resident of district Kullu. The cutoff date for calculation of upper and lower age limits and reserved category certification limit is 30.4.2011. The application must be accompanied by a crossed bank draft or IPO amounting to Rs. 120 /-(One Hundred twenty) only in respect of candidates from general category and Rs. 30/- (Thirty) Only from candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/IRDP categories to be drawn in favour of HP Police recruitment board Shimla- 171002. Application not accompanied with the requisite processing fee will be rejected or received after 31.5.2011, 05-00 PM will not be entertained. The processing fee would not be returned if the application form is rejected. Only those candidates would be considered against sports quota who are sponsored by the Director, Youth Services and sports, HP.

POLICE OFFICIALS AWARDED ON HIMACHAL DAY
Today Himachal Day function celebrated at Dhalpur. The following Police official have been awarded for their good performances. 1. ASI Ramesh Chand Incharge traffic Manali awarded for their best traffic management in Manali and during snow storm in Rohtang Pass in month of November 2009 and October 2010. 2. ASI Daya Ram I/O Police station Manali for his 100% recovery in case FIR No, 380 IPC PS Manali. Total recovery is 12,60,000/-( 20,000/- Canadian Dollar and gold ornaments). HHC Hem Raj PS Banjar for his best deduction work under ND&PS Act during July 2010 to Dec. 2010.
CASE OF PREVENTIVE ARREST
One person namely Santosh Kumar s/o Sh Lt. Bala Ram village Dalana P.O. Balh Joli PS & Tehsil Joginder Distt Mandi age 34 years has been arrested U/S 107, 151 CrPC on dated 14-4-2011 at 5:30 PM in PS Bhunter.
