CRIME REPORT DATED 12.04.11 UP TO 4PM


CASE OF ACCIDENT
1. Case FIR No 35/11 dated 11-04-2011 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Banjar on the statement of Ravi Kumar S/o Sh.Dula Ram R/o VPO Kahnag Tehsil Anni Distt kullu stated that on 11.4.2011 when he was going in his relationship to village Shill in Taxi No HP-01K-1896 at about 09.40 PM when he reached near Panali the driver of above vehicle Mr Hem Raj lost the control over the vehicle and rolled down from the road. Case is being investigated by HC Krishan Lal I/O PS Banjar.

2. Case FIR No 54/11 dated 11-04-2011 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Manali on the statement of Sunil Thakur S/o Sh.Man Chand R/o VPO Naggar Tehsil Manali Distt Kullu stated that on 10.4.2011 when he was going to Kullu from Nagar in vehicle No HP-01K-2411 at about 09.30 PM. When he reached Archhadi curve the driver of above vehicle Mr Pradeep Kumar lost the control over the vehicle and rolled down about 40-50 feet from the road. Case is being investigated by ASI Jai Lal I/C PP Paltikuhal.
3. Two Challan under COTPA Act (Anti-Smoking) has been made by SHO PS Bhunter and also made  23 challan of MV Act.
UPDATE OF MURDER CASE OF MANALI
The accused Laxman has been sent to 6 days of Police Remand. Further investigation continues. One important fact that has been revealed in the investigation so far is that the two hotels/Dharamshalas where the accused stayed, have not maintained proper record of the visitors that come to the hotel. Through media, it is advised that all the hoteliers should keep a proper record of all the persons visiting the hotel. nobody should be allowed to check-in without verifying identification. And all the records regarding the name and address of all the visitors and check-in and check-out time should be maintained in register. Any lapse on this part may invite penal provisions. It is in the interest of public safety that such records should be properly maintained.
