POLICE PATROLLING IN CANNABIS AFFECTED AREAS

1. Armed Police patrolling parties have been dispatched in cannabis affected areas to check the cultivation of the crop in the form of taking out the resin i.e. Charas. Five teams have been sent one each to Jari, Manikaran, Manali, Bhunter, Patlikulh areas each to check the Nepali and Gorkha labor involved in extraction of Charas. A case was also registered two days back when police seized around 100 grams charas. During the campaign this year around 100 Nepalis have been arrested under preventive sections of law during this year. Police will take strict legal action against those who are found extracting the cannabis from the plants.  

CASE OF GRIEVOUS HURT

2. Case FIR No 503/11 dated 28.09.2011 U/S 323, 325, 34 IPC has been registered in PS Kullu on the final opinion of MO RH Kullu as on 16.09.2011 registered by Sh. Parma Nand S/o Sh.Tabarsu Ram R/o Poshi Tehsil & Distt Kullu against Snaju, Yashpal and his wife. Case is being investigated by HC Jawaal dass I/O PS kullu.   

CASE OF BURGLARY

3. Case FIR No 353/11 dated 28.09.2011 U/S 457, 380 IPC has been registered in PS Manali on the statement of Amit Thakur S/o Joginder Singh R/o at present Hotel Morang Gurudawara road Manali stated that he has taken the Hotel Morang on lease. In the intervening night 27/28-09-2011 at about 2.30 AM he heard a sound dropping something at reception and he checked the reception and found that one LCD and one CPU was stolen from the reception center by some unknown person. Case is being investigated by ASI Jagjit Singh I/O PS Manali.

4. One person namely Rajesh Kumar S/O Sh. karam Chand R/o Shuru Distt kullu has been arrested in case FIR no 353/11 dated 28.9.2011 U/S 457, 380 IPC PS Manali.

5. One person namely Achhar Singh S/o Daya Ram R/o Parwari PO Tung Tehsil Banjar Distt Kullu has been arrested in case FIR No 235/11 dated 05.09.2011 U/S 452, 354, 323, 506 IPC PS Banjar on 29.09.2011.  

ARREST UNDER HP POLICE ACT 

6. Three persons are arrested u/s 114,115 of HP Police Act as they were found in drunk and riotous condition. 1. Bhuvanesh Kumar s/o Des Raj R/o Hardaspur PO. Hardaspur teh & distt  chamba 2. Munish S/o Sulrdyal singh r/o VPO Raiseri teh & distt Una 3. Roop Chand s/o Jog Ram r/o VPO Dobhi teh & distt Kullu and two person Bhuvanesh kumar and Munish kumar were produced before the Addl. SP kullu from where they were released on fine of  Rs. 500/- each . Mr. Roop Chand released on self surety bond.
