CRIME REPORT DATED 21.07.2011 UP TO 4 PM

CASE OF CRUELTY BY HUSBAND

1.      Case FIR No 424/11 dated 20.7.11 U/S 498(A) 323, 506 IPC has been registered in PS Kullu on the complaint of Smt. Indira Devi W/o Sh Rajesh Kumar R/o Shishamati Distt Kullu alleged that on 20.7.2011 when she was working in her room in the mean time her husband Rajesh Kumar entered in the room and beaten her for dowry and also threatened her with dire consequences. Accused has not been arrested and case is being investigated by HC Manoj Kumari I/C women cell PS Kullu.

CASE OF ACCIDENT

2.      Case FIR No 177/11 dated 20.7.2011 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Bhunter on the statement of Sh. Tara Chand r/o Bhutti colony district Kullu stated that on 20-07-11 when he was in shop at Mohal at 7-35 PM one mini bus no. HP-34-B-2151 which was going towards Bhunter  and was overtaking  another vehicle in the mean time one motor cycle no. HP-34-B-0815 was going towards Kullu was hit by above bus. Case is being investigated by HC Jitender Kumar I/O Traffic Bhunter

CASE OF ACCIDENTAL DEATH

3.      Case FIR No. 178 dated 20-07-2011 U/S 304 A IPC has been registered in PS Bhunter on the statement of Horen R/O Bandisulia C/O Orguno firm Bonga P./O Garsa PS Bhunter stated that on 20-07-2011 at about 7-30 PM he along with Ramu went to bring water at Garsa khad in the same time heard a siaran from opposite side. DC Rathi has taken the contract  of Sasi power house Pvt. Ltd. He at once ran from there, during running the workers of DC Rathi exploded to break the stones, due to this stones hit on Ramu’s head and he died on the spot. Case is being investigated by ASI Nirmal Singh I/O PS Bhunter.

PROTEST RALLY AT BANJAR

4.      Today at 12.30 PM 30/40 workers of communist party of Banjar block took out a rally under the leadership of Hotem Singh Sonkhla President CPIM from new bus stand Banjar to old bus stand Banjar and raised slogans against central government in connection with inflation & corruption . The rally dispersed peacefully at 1.20 p.m.

FLASH FLOOD NEAR DHUNDHI

5.      On 20-7-11 at around 12.05 A.M A Telephonic Information was received in P.S Manali that During the Intervening Night of 20/21-7-11 at around 11.30 PM A massive cloud burst has occurred before 2.5 Km from Dhundi from the direction of Manali . On this information S.I Mathru Ram along with Police Personnel rushed to the spot and started rescue operation there and as per inquiry it is found that most of the office buildings and residential sheds of the contractor had washed away and few are under the debris in damaged condition and 8 persons namely 1. Raj Kumar s/o Nanak Chand Village Supa P.O Gared Tehsil Barmour Distt. Chamba age 20 years 2. Gotam Mandal S/O Tarni Mandal Village Sarsakhari P.O Kurmahat Tehsil Hasdiya Distt. Dumka (Jarkhand) 3. Dole Ram S/O Sher Singh R/O Jander P.O Kalehnder Tehsil Balichowki Distt. Mandi age 23 Year 4. Jai Paul S/O Phool Singh R/O H. NO. 84 Vill. Aman Naggar Tehsil Nagina Distt. Bijnour U.P age 33 year 5. Madan Kumar S/O Hem Raj Vill. Kharoti P.O Kharoti Tehsil Saloni Distt. Chamba age 23 year 6. Shiv Ram S/O Prem Chand Vill. Dusra Khabu Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi age 32 year 7. Tikeshwar Kumar S/O Sher Singh Vill. Habani P.O Riwalsar Distt. Mandi age 38 year 8. Krishna Jaswal S/O Bihari Vill. Charvi Tehsil Rewad Ganj Distt. Sonbudhar U.P age 26 year were missing and 24 Injured persons were brought to the Mission Hospital Manali out of which 21 persons have been discharged after giving treatment and 3 persons Namely 1. Chander Bushan Dube U.P age 53 year 2. Rohit Kumar Distt. Una age 21 year 3. Shri Kant U.P age 40 year are admitted in Mission Hospital Manali . Today out of 8 missing persons two dead bodies of deceased  1. Raj Kumar s/o Nanak Chand Village Supa P.O Gared Tehsil Barmour Distt. Chamba age 20 years has been recovered from beas river near Old Manali and 2.Tikeshwar Kumar S/O Sher Singh Vill. Habani P.O Riwalsar Distt. Mandi age 38 year has been recovered near Neharu Kund from river Beas . In the Morning rescue teams from ITBP and SSB have arrived for rescue/search operation . Rescue /search operation of missing persons continues.
