CASE OF RAPE
1. Case FIR No 219/11 dated 27.7.11 U/S 366, 376, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS Banjar on the statement of Lata (fictitious name) r/o Tehsil Banjar Distt Kullu that a person used to come to her home and later he offered her for marriage. She agreed and then he took her to Kullu court for marriage and there she come to know that he is already married and she refused to do marriage with him. Later he took her in a car forcibly to Jammu where he raped her. Case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Banjar.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
2. Case FIR No 434/11 dated 27.7.2011 U/S 61-1-14 has been registered in PS Kullu on the ruka of SHO PS Kullu that on dated when he along with police staff came after the investigation of case FIR No 431/11 and when they reached near Nagujhore they received a secret information that Hem Singh S/o Lachhi Ram has sold wine in his shop. On this they raided his shop and recovered three boxes of bagpiper and one box of Royal Stag from his shop. Case is being investigated by Inspector/SHO PS Kullu.
CASE OF CONVICTION IN NARCOTICS
3. Today on 28.7.2011 one person namely Shanta Walia Nepali has been convicted by Ld District & Sessions Judge Kullu Sh. Baldev Singh for 10 years and fined one lac who was arrested in case FIR No 312/08 dated 04.10.10 U/S 20 of ND&PS Act PS Manali as 17.700 Kg Charas was recovered from his possession at Gaderani by ASI Lal Singh I/O PS Manali.
